Methusala started in 1995 in a huge barn on Hoscar Moss, Lancashire, when a group of friends decided to put their various knowledge and skills together to produce a music festival. It was so good we did it again in 1996. Then we all decided to have children & things.
14 Years later after various births and marriages we decided to re-kindle the spirit of Methusala, slight hair & memory loss, longer in the tooth and still none the wiser. Here we go again!
WHO
Methusala Music Fest is made up of a consortium of friends based in the Mawdesley area who all have something to offer and contribute to the on-going success of the festival. With your support and expertise together we are Methusala.
WHERE
The festival is based at Cedar Farm Galleries, Back Lane, Mawdesley. Which has fantastic facilities for the young and old, or like us, middle aged: children’s play area, farm animals, cafe, roastery, lots of interesting shops & studios. Set in the picturesque village of Mawdesley which has some great pubs, wonderful views and brilliant scenic walks.

Because we love live music………….
